Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected when you use the ModdedMC Network website.

1. Visitor Tracking

We track daily unique visitors to our site for security and analytics purposes. This includes your country of origin and an encrypted version of your IP address.

The encryption ensures your IP cannot be reversed or misused. We do not collect personal information or track individual page views.

2. No Personal Accounts (for Players)

This website does not collect personally identifiable information from regular visitors or Minecraft players. You can browse and interact with the site freely without signing in.

We may collect limited information (such as usernames, contact details, or Discord handles) from approved ModdedMC staff members and staff applicants for internal use, moderation, and administration. This information is never shared outside the network and is handled securely.

3. Reactions & Feedback

Users may react to news articles using positive emoji buttons. These reactions are recorded per article using your IP address to prevent spam or abuse.

As with visitor logs, IP addresses are encrypted before storage and are never shared or linked to you personally.

4. Use of Cookies

We use minimal session cookies for basic site functionality, such as tracking a single visitor session.

We do not use cookies for advertising, profiling, or third-party tracking.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Discord: We display real-time Discord statistics using Discord’s public API. No user data is collected or stored from Discord.
  • Google Fonts: Fonts used on this site are served via Google Fonts. Your browser may connect to Google to download font files.

6. Data Retention

Visitor logs are stored for no more than 365 days for aggregate analysis and security review, then permanently deleted.

No data is ever sold, shared, or used for profiling.

7. Your Rights

If you are located in the EU or California, you may have rights under privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA.

Because we do not collect personal data from visitors, requests for data access or deletion typically do not apply. However, you may contact us with any concerns.
