Server Rules

Please read these rules carefully. By playing on the ModdedMC Network, you agree to follow them and any future updates.

Staff decisions are final. Do not argue bans or punishments in public chat – use the proper appeal or ticket channels instead.

General Conduct

  1. Be kind and respectful: no toxicity, harassment, or targeted abuse toward other players or staff.
  2. Keep chat friendly: light swearing is allowed, but avoid excessive language and NSFW topics.
  3. No hate or discrimination: do not attack or insult people based on who they are or what groups they belong to.
  4. No politics or real-world drama: avoid political debates or highly controversial topics in chat, voice, usernames, skins, or signs.
  5. Avoid drama: do not start arguments or stir up conflicts; handle personal issues privately, not in public channels.
  6. Respect staff: follow staff directions and cooperate with investigations; if you disagree, open a ticket instead of arguing publicly.
  7. Advertising: SFW YouTube/Twitch/social content is fine, but you may not advertise other Minecraft servers.

Gameplay Rules

  1. No griefing, stealing, or trolling: respect other players’ builds and items, do not claim boss structures or the main End island, and avoid non-consensual PvP (except where a server specifically allows it). Report unclaimed bases to staff.
  2. Fair progression and economy: do not completely carry new players with high-end items, and avoid giving or selling gear that skips core progression. Gifting is fine, but encourage players to play the game.
  3. No unfair advantages: no hacked clients, X-ray, combat cheats, or abuse of bugs/exploits. Please report exploits instead of using them.
  4. Keep the world clean: design farms and automation responsibly; avoid huge, unoptimized setups that create massive lag, mob spam, or constant item spillage.

Performance & Server Health

To keep servers stable and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these performance-focused rules:

  1. Avoid mass storage of NBT-heavy items: tools, armor, backpacks, enchanted gear, and other items with large NBT data add a lot of overhead in systems like AE2, Refined Storage, or large modded storage networks. Do not stockpile huge numbers of these items in automated systems; use normal chests or organize manually where possible.
  2. Be mindful of automation: design automation to be efficient and controlled. Avoid setups that cause mass item spillage, constant overflow, or extreme overkill processing that hammers tick time.

Economy Rules - Selling, Pricing & Item Value

We want the economy to feel fair for both new and veteran players. Please follow these guidelines when pricing and selling items:

  1. Do not undercut the market or sell items unrealistically cheap: selling high-value, end-game items for extremely low prices harms the entire server economy. Please avoid:
    • Selling late-game items for prices that brand new players can easily afford.
    • Setting prices far below the normal value of the item.
    • Listing items at intentionally unrealistic prices.
Players who repeatedly do this may be temporarily or permanently restricted from using:
    • The Auction House
    • Server shops
    • Other player-run economy features
Staff decisions on pricing abuse are final.
  2. Why we do not provide minimum price lists:
    • There are too many items across too many modpacks to maintain accurate values
    • Prices naturally fluctuate based on supply, demand, and progression
    • Static price lists cause more disputes than they solve
Because of this, we will not maintain or provide official price guides.. Players are expected to price items responsibly, and in a way that does not disrupt the overall economy.
  3. Staff requests to adjust prices: if staff ask you to change or remove an unreasonable listing, please cooperate. Refusing to work with staff or becoming hostile over pricing may result in:
    • Selling restrictions
    • Temporary trade bans
    • Removal or blacklisting from the Auction House
