See the Rulebreakers
If you are unsure how rules are enforced, you can view our live ban list and past punishments. This helps you understand what is not allowed and how seriously rules are taken.
View Live Bans →Server Rules
Please take a moment to read through these rules. By playing on the ModdedMC Network, you agree to follow them. These rules may be updated over time, so it is your responsibility to stay informed.
Staff decisions are final. If you disagree with a punishment, please use the proper appeal or support channels instead of discussing it in public chat.
General Conduct
- Be respectful: please avoid harassment, insults, or trying to provoke others. The goal is to keep the server enjoyable for everyone.
- Chat behaviour: light swearing is fine, but repeated or excessive language that disrupts chat is not allowed.
- No hate or discrimination: do not target anyone based on personal traits or beliefs.
- Avoid public arguments: please keep disputes and sensitive topics out of public chat.
- Usernames & skins: inappropriate names or skins must be changed if asked by staff.
- Builds: do not create offensive or disruptive builds. This includes anything intended to shock or upset others.
- Follow staff instructions: if you disagree, please use the ticket system instead of arguing publicly.
- Advertising: sharing personal content is fine, but do not advertise other servers.
Gameplay Rules
- No griefing or stealing: respect other players’ builds and items.
- No unfair advantages: hacked clients, X-ray, or exploits are not allowed. Please report bugs instead of using them.
- World care: avoid destroying large areas of the main world. Use resource worlds where possible.
- Illegitimate items: do not use or store items that were not obtained properly.
Performance & Server Health
These rules help keep the server running smoothly for everyone.
- Limit heavy storage: storing large amounts of NBT-heavy items can cause lag.
- Scale your builds: please avoid building far beyond what you need.
- Mob farms: farms must kill mobs and collect items efficiently. Setups that cause lag may be removed.
We also have some standards for automation and base builds. Large or excessive setups can impact server performance, so please try to keep things efficient and avoid going over the top.
View Automation Guidelines →Economy & Progression
These rules are in place to keep progression fair and the economy healthy for everyone.
- Giving away items: players are allowed to give items to each other, but there are limits to keep progression fair. Giving away early or basic items is fine, especially if someone is stuck or just needs a bit of help. Rare or limited items from world generation are also fine to share or trade, as this is part of normal gameplay. However, giving away valuable mid-to-late game resources, advanced gear, or anything that allows players to skip progression is not allowed. We encourage players to enjoy their own playthrough and use the economy system instead of giving items away for free.
- Pricing & economy: we do not enforce fixed prices, but please avoid selling high-value items for extremely cheap. Listings that are far below their normal value may be removed to keep the economy fair. We want to avoid situations where new players can instantly buy endgame items with very little money. Some systems like the auction house and chest shops may also have built-in minimum price limits. If you cannot list an item because the price is too low, this is intentional and helps maintain a healthy economy.
Deceased Craft Rules
These rules apply only to the Deceased Craft server. All general rules still apply here as well.
- Placeholder: rules will be added soon
If there is any conflict between rules, the server-specific rules will take priority.
