What Staff Means Here

Staff are here to protect the player experience. That means helping people get unstuck, keeping conversations calm, handling issues fairly, and making sure the servers stay welcoming for new and long-time players alike.

All ModdedMC staff positions are volunteer roles. We appreciate the time, care, and effort our staff give to the community, but these positions are not paid employment.

You do not need to know everything before applying. We care more about patience, honesty, good judgment, and the ability to work with a team.

What We Look For

• Community-minded: you care about making ModdedMC better for everyone, not just yourself or your friend group.
• Calm communication: you can explain things clearly and stay respectful when a situation gets frustrating.
• Fair judgment: you understand that staff decisions need to be consistent, honest, and free from favoritism.
• Reliability: you do not need to be online constantly, but you should communicate clearly and follow through when you take something on.
• Willingness to learn: modded Minecraft can get complicated, and good staff know when to ask questions.

Before You Apply

Take a little time with the application. Thoughtful answers help us understand who you are, how you think, and where you might fit on the team.

• Use your real Minecraft username and Discord account.
• Be honest about your experience, availability, and past moderation history.
• Tell us why you want to help ModdedMC specifically.
• Avoid one-word answers where a short explanation would help.
• Understand that applying does not guarantee acceptance.

A Quick Note

Staff are part of the community, not above it. The strongest applicants are usually people who already make the server better by being helpful, mature, patient, and easy to work with.
